How to Download and Play Flash Games WITHOUT Adobe Flash Player (Offline too!)

 

Hello readers! Today I will show you how to download Flash games an play it offline. I might be a bit late showing you this tutorial since Adobe Flash Player is discontinued in December 31, 2020. (source)

In this tutorial, we are going to use a third party website called File2HD.

This website will pull any file from a website such as pictures, script, and also .swf file which is a 'Flash Player' file.

You can continue reading or watch this video where I show you the method step by step:

1. Open the website which contains flash game that you want to download.

2. Copy the website URL in my case it is https://www.y8.com/games/jacksmith

3. Paste it to the File2HD 'URL' section tick the 'I have read and agree to the Terms of Service'

4. Choose 'Object' as a filter

5. Your .swf files should be shown under the Filter section

6. Click it to download it

How to Play it?

I'm glad you asked, we need a third party flash software to launch the .swf file! There is a lot of options out there, but I will be using SWF File Player which you can download right here:

http://www.swffileplayer.com/

After you downloaded it, install it.

And then launch the program and open your .swf file

There it is! You have successfully downloaded the game and playing it offline WITHOUT the dead Adobe Flash Player
